Module Details
Module Indicative Content
This unit examines the issues affecting participation in adventure tourism, and the relationship between the terrain and adventure tourism. Learners assess the risks and resource needs of adventure activities in a range of locations, and carry out the processes and procedures needed to participate and instruct in a range of adventure tourism activities. Learners are required to produce a module file that contains a diary of activities undertaken and evidence of practical assessments, analysis of performance, and development.

1 x module file covering outcomes 1,2,3, 4 and 5 (2500 words). The module file will contain a diary of activities undertaken, and evidence of practical assessments, analysis of performance, and development.
Module Learning Strategies
45 Hours Contac:-
15 x 1.5 hours tutor-led lecture/practical programme.
15 x 1.5 hours tutor-led and/or student-led practical and workshop programme.

105 Hours student-led guided independent study:-
75 hours research/reading (may include residential)
