ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
A range of formative and summative assessment methods will be used which are appropriate to the teaching and learning delivery method, mode of attendance and proposed weighting criteria used for this module, and as reflected within the Scheme and Award specifications.
A contextualised and approved assessment strategy and schedule will be published to students by award.
With regards to the HREF students, the Module will have one assessment. Students will undertake an individual project.

1. Project Report - 3000 words (addressing LO's 1, 2, 3 and 4)

Students must attempt all assessments and achieve an overall pass grade for the module

Formative feedback will be provided in a variety of forms, including written feedback on proposed titles, outline assignment plans and full drafts

Feedback may take place via full-class, group and individual tutorials

INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module is centred on undertaking a negotiated work based project. Tutorials and formative peer feedback will be used to support group work and reflection throughout the project.

The sessions will cover the following areas:
• Time management, organisational and project management skills to secure a work placement and identify a suitable project and prepare a proposal.
• Use a range of analytical techniques to assist their exploration with problems and the processes involved with solving them and providing solutions.
• Active listening, recording procedures, negotiation, influence and persuasion skills.
• Research methods including the selection of appropriate tools and techniques for the evaluation of approaches and solutions to agreed issues.
• The appropriate use of quantitative and qualitative data to solve the agreed problem
• The appropriate use of a range of models and methods for evaluating outcomes and assessing changes to working practices, processes, skills or approaches.
• The selection of approaches to critiquing the value of work related experiences and the relationship with the organisation and the sector.
• Summarising and present findings using suitable methods.
