Assessment Details
Student will be required to complete 3 pieces of summative assessment.

Assignment 1
A 1500 word report to assess learning outcomes 2 & 3 for 50% of the overall module grade.
The report should look to explain the principles of training eg FITT principle, SPORT. It should explain what physiological changes happen to the body following certain exercise regimes.

The student needs to apply knowledge of exercise regimes for two chosen specific client groups (elderly, children, pregnant women, differing medical conditions). Explaining how adaptation of sessions and exercises are appropriate for the client groups.

Assignment 2
A 1500 word report contributing 50% of the overall module mark which will assess learning outcomes 1 & 4.
The report should be based upon your experience of assessment 3 and your wider knowledge drawn from the module providing a rationale for the development of a 6 week training programme. The report must include a range of fitness tests for different fitness components explaining why determining fitness levels are important when completing an exercise programme. Referring to national averages, the student will develop their 6 week training programme, commenting on its suitability and its rationale for the development of fitness components.

Assignment 3
Perform 4 x 30 minute fitness sessions - compulsory observations. This assessment is 0% weighted.
