MODULE INDICATIVE CONTENT
The module aims to provide you with the opportunity to learn experientially through a placement experience. Throughout the teaching material and resources, there will be focus on the organisation that you conduct your placement with and their organisational structure, mission, market, as well as the operational elements of specific roles within sport, exercise and/or physical education organisations. You will explore your own personal and professional development by reflecting on your own areas of strength and weaknesses in relation to the industry. Reflective practice will be explored and specific frameworks for you to base your reflective practice around, for example Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle (1984). Personal and professional development, how to reflect in and on-action and professional standards whilst on placement will form the majority of the learning content within this module.
