Module Indicative Content
The placement module aims to provide experience of learning from and applying knowledge to a Sport and Exercise relevant working environment. Each student is given the opportunity to undertake a specific and relevant work based task that is agreed by the supervising tutor and the host organisation. The module provides students with the opportunity to develop key personal & transferable skills by applying their knowledge and skills to a specific context relevant to their Award or areas of interest. Whilst the placement module has generic aims and learning outcomes the detail of each placement will be determined by the module leader & other supervisory lecturing staff.

Module Additional Assessment Details

2. A 3000 word (or equivalent) project in a format agreed with the University supervisor and host organisation liaison person, in line with S & E guidelines. This assignment will focus on the production of a vocationally orientated piece of work and demands the opportunity for the application of critical literature. This will assess LO's 1, 2, 3 & 4.
