Module Details
Module Indicative Content
The module aims to provide students with an advanced level of knowledge in the principles and design of an annual training programme for a sports performer: including the concepts of periodisation, overtraining, altitude training, monitoring of training and peaking of performance.
Module Additional Assessment Details
Students will be required to complete 1 piece of summative assessment:
1. An annual training plan plus 1500 word justification of the plan (LO's 1 and 2).

Workshop sessions will continually provide feedback on progress as each workshop will contribute progressively towards the final summative assessment.
