Module Details
Module Additional Assessment Details
Students will be required to complete 1 piece of summative assessment:
Production of a 3000 word portfolio. This will comprise a critical discussion of a selected psychological strategy or issue surrounding the delivery and evaluation of interventions.
The portfolio will also require students to demonstrate an ability to communicate information about a selected psychological strategy to a sport population in a readable and accessible format.
It will also comprise a psychological skills training programme developed for a specific athlete or team. This assessment will be worth 100% of the module's mark and assess LOs 1, 2 and 3.

Students will be prepared for this assessment by role play and formative assessment (assessed by peers) delivered during the workshop sessions.
Module Indicative Content
This course considers, using theory and empirical research, the efficacy of psychological strategies
