Assessment Details
The student will conduct a 10-12-minute interview with either an athlete, parent of an athlete, coach, or a coach mentor/educator. The topic of the interview shall be decided by the student, but the themes discussed within the interview must be associated to those covered in the contemporary issues module. Secondly, to conclude the podcast, the student is required to produce a summary on how the themes of the interview can inform your own coaching practice going forwards. This summary needs to draw upon relevant literature and include clear actions on how you wish to improve your coaching practice. Student can use a range of options to conduct the recording of their podcast: SMART phones, computers with mic, online web-based software, etc. The file will be uploaded to Blackboard using their submission portal. This assessment is worth 100% of the module grade. This will assess LO’s 1, 2 and 3.
