Module Additional Assessment Details
Students will be required to complete 1 piece of summative assessment:
A scenario case study analysis. Present a report giving a rational and recommending action to be taken further to a given resource management scenario. Assesses LOs 1, 2 and 3.

Additional Assessment Details (including formative feedback / assessment:
Discussion and analysis of case study scenarios within the legal frameworks introduced within the lecture series. The formative feedback within these sessions will indicate the standards of analysis required for the final case study analysis.

Module Indicative Content
This module aims to provide an understanding of the principles involved in the design, staffing and
operation of sports facilities. Primarily, the module focuses upon legal issues and the impact that these issues have upon the operational management procedures including the recruitment and selection of staff.
