Module Details
Module Learning Strategies
Content will be delivered off-site by K2 Performance. The following learning strategies are therefore presented

Scheduled Learning and Teaching Activities: (24 hours)
8 hours minimum - High Performance & Motivation Masterclass Training
16 hours minimum - Athlete at Work on Line learning tool

Guided Independent Study: (126 hours) to include:
Preparation for Masterclass
Reflection on High Performance and Motivation principles, and completion of profile and performance improvement action plan
Reading of guides and tools and other directed reading following Masterclass and AAWOL completion
Application of principles in workplace role
Reflection - self and with others - on learning, and completion of Performance Log-book

Learners will be supported in their self-directed learning through a range of strategies which may include weekly emails, webinars, bulletins, discussion boards, self-organised learning groups (within their business), external peer networks/mentor schemes. In addition, learners will have access to the course tutors, and will be expected to be in regular contact with them to update them on their progress.

Module Indicative Content
This module considers using contemporary psychological theory and empirical evidence aligned with the high performance principles of both individuals and groups. To this end, the module includes content on the following themes:

- High performance mindset and attitudes
- The characteristics of World Class Performers
- Performance as a process - understanding the major components of performance
- Motivation - definitions, types, theories - Self-Determination Theory. The link between motivation and performance
- Using the 3 Cs - control, confidence and connectedness - to improve motivation and performance
- Profiling performance and creating an action plan for performance improvement
- Performance improvement journey through Athlete at Work on Line tool
- Applying and embedding performance and motivation principles
Module Additional Assessment Details
This module includes two pieces of summative assessment. The module is passed following an overall pass grade across all pieces of assessment. Hence all elements of assessment do not have to be passed.

1) Completion of the Athlete at Work on Line (AAWOL) package - 40% (This is delivered by K2; assessing LO's 1, 2)

2) Completion of a 2500 word performance profile, improvement action plan, and logbook - 60% (assessing LO's 3, 4, 5)
