Module Indicative Content
The structure of the dissertation, treatment of the topic and methodology will depend on the topic selected and intended purpose of the dissertation (each chosen in consultation with the leaner¿s dissertation tutor). The research will normally contain an empirical component, but may be a critical review of the state of knowledge. The research may attempt to extend the state of knowledge within the topic area or apply existing ideas techniques or methods to a new situation.
You may choose a more vocational focus in their dissertation. Such research enables learners the opportunity to apply in an organisational setting knowledge, skills and techniques developed in the modules across the programme of study.
