INDICATIVE CONTENT
The topics will vary according to topical issues apparent at the time of delivery. The nature of a contemporary issues module means that the current issues in the subject area are fluid and constantly changing, therefore, this module will aim to keep abreast of these current issues and integrate them into the teaching schedule of the module.
ASSESMENT DETAILS
The student will conduct an 8-10 minute interview with a stakeholder associated to sports coaching and/or development. The topic of the interview shall be decided by the student, but the themes discussed within the interview must be associated to those covered in the contemporary issues module. Secondly, to conclude the podcast, the student is required to produce a summary on how the themes of the interview can inform your own future practice. This summary needs to draw upon relevant literature and include clear actions on how you wish to improve your practice. Students can use a range of options to conduct the recording of their podcast: SMART phones, computers with mic, online web-based software, etc. The file will be uploaded to Blackboard using the submission portal. This assessment is worth 100% of the module grade. This will assess LO’s 1, 2, 3
