WEB DESCRIPTOR
This module will equip you to seek and attend a variety of different work placements allowing you to gain as much industry experience as possible. You will have the opportunity to work with our existing work placement partners but also our SUST Clinic which is located at the University. An exciting and rewadingrewarding module that will lead you into the world of work.
LEARNING STRATEGIES
In order to provide the best learning experience to our students, the sport therapy team is committed to providing an environment that supports and encourages students to develop their knowledge, understanding and technical skills. To achieve this, we use a variety of teaching and learning techniques to meet the diverse needs of our students. These techniques include, but are not limited to, problem-based learning, context-based learning, simulation, and peer to peer learning. This approach ensures that students are able to contextualise their knowledge and understanding and best prepares them for employment.

Students will be required to be at a placement host for the majority of this module. Students will refine their skills within the Staffordshire University Sports Therapy and (SUST) Clinicrehabilitation Clinic and at an external placement. Students are highly encouraged to observe practices of the host and look to engage above and beyond their duties with the host, for example to assist where appropriate, to further develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of the host environment.¿
