INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module both develops a broad knowledge of the principles of masters level research methodology in the context of tactical management and the application of such principles to a major study in an appropriate field selected by the student. Students will be encouraged, through lectures, group work and independent study. This will allow the student to integrate both the theoretical and practical considerations of problem solving in the workplace in a tactical management context.

It will require the participant to:
undertake investigative and analytical work
draw conclusions
make detailed recommendations in a formal written report
LEARNING STRATEGIES
This module requires candidates to commit to 150 learning hours (including assessment) of which 12 hours will be direct supported learning (including lectures, tutorials, workshops, case studies, in-class group discussions, videos, workbooks and computer-based learning) During your independent study you will be expected to analyse company specific data, research academic literature and complete electronic information gathering in order to widen your subject knowledge to satisfactorily complete a work based assignment.
