Brief Description:
Select one from following, according to your study programme:
a) MBA: Implementation of a project in a company with using a project management processes and methodology.
b) MSC: Critical essay focused on project management in a selected company.

• Business justification of the project – business case, benefits and goals

• Products and quality management in the project’s environment (quality planning and assurance)

LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. Demonstrate a systematic and complex understanding of the project lifecycle model and key processes of project management, Project business case design and maintenance, Project planning and managing in an international environment.

2. Demonstrate and advanced scholarship by defining the roles and responsibilities in the project specific organisation, Project controlling including managing of project risks and issues, key decision making, Managing the change by creation of Project documentation and configuration management. Analysis

3. Demonstrate an ability to define project goals and products and evaluate justification and viability of the project and demonstrate the skill to manage the goals, products, quality, risks and changes of the project.
Application

LEARNING STRATEGIES
Students will engage in direct teaching sessions / lectures and following structured learning.

Following the lectures and prior to completing assessment students will engage with guided learning which will consolidate all new knowledge and understanding.

Independent learning strategies will include electronic consultations, electronic discussion groups and if asked for - personal consultations / advice with lecture team members.
