Brief Description:
Select one from following, according to your study programme:
a) MBA: Formulation of a HRM strategy with specific relation to the intercultural aspects in a selected company.
b) MSC: Critical essay focused on issues regarding intercultural barriers in a company.

• Cultural intelligence.

• What to do and what not to do in different cultures.
• Examples of typical cultural behaviours – Americans, Germans, French, Chinese, Japanese, Indians, Russians, Arabs, Latin Americans.
• Potential conflicts across cultures.
• Build your personal cultural profile, identify and close gaps.
• Summary discussion with guest speakers – business persons from several countries.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. Demonstrate a strategic focus within a systematic understanding of a cultural diversity as a major factor influencing global business.

LEARNING STRATEGIES
Students will engage in direct teaching sessions / lectures and following structured learning.
Following the lectures and prior to completing assessment students will engage with guided learning which will consolidate all new knowledge and understanding.
Independent learning strategies will include electronic consultations, electronic discussion groups and if asked for - personal consultations / advice with lecture team members.
