Module Indicative Content
You are expected to consolidate the knowledge and experience gained during earlier modules, refining working methods and adopting a professional, competitive attitude. You will be introduced to additional workshop skills, including both general Surface Pattern studio and Surface Decoration workshop Health and Safety training.
You will develop an increased level of awareness and analysis and continue to carry out research, generate new ideas and solve problems - all of which will be intellectually stimulating and demanding. It is expected that your programme of study will be underpinned by a strong drawing core, where the investigation of personal ideas through analytical and observational drawing is essential.
The journey you take throughout this module will be continually informed by on-going reference and research. You will be encouraged to continually review and evaluate your progress, being able to respond to, as well as initiate ideas, and be specific about target markets and audiences.
A major element of this module is focused on professional practice, on good time management skills and on the high standard of presentation of work.
