MODULE INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module looks in more depth at how cartoons communicate visually with their audience, taking into account the art in its many diverse forms. It deals with methods of work that the student may encounter while in the work place. The structure of how narrative, story and communication all play a part in the industry. It is also designed to provide a platform for specialisation in this semester. You will be asked to consider the direction your studies may take in the future (level 6). With staff guidance you will draw on knowledge and experience gained so far to select/write project briefs that exploit areas you have shown ability and understanding in.
This is to gain confidence within the subject and begin to develop your own personal 'style' and visual language within your chosen specialism.
