Essay length 1000 words weighted at 75%. 2nd Essay 500 words weighted at 25%
1,000 word essay based on an essay title relating to a chosen area of study and a 500 word career action plan
INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module has been designed to enable learners to continue to build a range of skills appropriate for HE level study. Through the development of independent research skills and applying the knowledge gained via academic writing you will be able to continue to progress into higher education.
The personalised information, advice and guidance provided will facilitate relevant progression opportunities and decision making.
LEARNING STRATEGIES
The application of skills developed during the first module will enable you to undertake independent research in relation to a specific essay question. By developing your academic writing skills you will gain further understanding in the requirements of higher education. Planning your future is a key part of this module and will involve you participating in one to one and group discussions.
