The assessment will involve the construction of a portfolio of exercises throughout the module culminating in a final exercise that brings together all of the skills learnt. There will be a report to accompany the final submission of 2,000 words.

Introduction to server side languages using PHP
Testing and test plans for web sites
Methodologies
Testing Processes

Module Learning Strategies
The lecture will support the two lab sessions. The lab sessions will support the underlying knowledge and skills required to complete the module, and will be facilitated with booklets, course texts, and the internet. Within lab sessions students will learn scripting languages, learn and use methods, and create and run test plans. Group discussions will also take place in these sessions. (1:n) (1:20)2
