Module Additional Assessment Details
Assignment of 3,500 words max (50%) - Learning Outcome 2, 3 and 4. The students will produce an assignment which will involve some practical review work and a written report.
Exam (50%) duration 2 hours - Learning outcome 1 and 2.

Module Learning Strategies
The lecture will support the two lab sessions. Lectures will support the learning in the areas of HCI and usability for different devices. The lab sessions will run in groups of 70 with 2 members of staff in attendance. The lab sessions will support the underlying knowledge and skills required to complete the module, and will be facilitated with booklets, course texts (if any) and the internet. Group discussions will also take place in these sessions. Independent study will involve research and group based exercises related to the assignment.
