Module Details
Module Learning Strategies
As appropriate to individual learning contract. The student will be supported by the work based mentor in achieving the outcomes required, with support from the Academic Guidance Tutor or other subject specialist as appropriate.
Module Indicative Content
The aim of this module is to enable you to structure and undertake learning activities that meet the negotiated learning outcomes in a specified area of computing or IT.

The content of the module will be identified by yourself and negotiated as part of your negotiated learning agreement.
Module Additional Assessment Details
The assessment will be determined as part of the negotiated learning agreement, but could consist of a reflective portfolio, an analysis of a work based project or reflection on the impact of company based training. The assessment will need to meet the outcomes specified in the learning contract. Agreement of the nature of assessment will be between the student and the Academic Guidance Tutor.

Students are expected to take advantage of the extensive library facilities available within the University, keeping abreast of current developments through appropriate periodicals and being aware of the work of major practitioners in their subject.
