A 3500 word critical evaluation of an aspect of Contraception and Sexual Health Care from a list of topics (Achieves all learning outcomes).
Module Indicative Content
The aim of the module is to enable the student to increase the student's breadth and depth of knowledge in contraception and sexual health as well as explore in depth contemporary issues within this field. You will share this learning with professionals from various backgrounds which will add breadth and depth to discussion within the group. Throughout the module, the content will be considered from a variety of perspectives including gender, age, culture, religion and sexuality.
The following topics will be included: applied anatomy and physiology relevant to fertility, fertility control, contraceptive methods and safer sex. Professional and legal issues related to this field are also considered for example the use of Patient Group Directions and Fraser Guidelines, as well as current service provision and future developments.
