Module Indicative Content
This module will focus on enhancing knowledge, critical understanding and analysis of the issues relating to Contraception and Sexual Health care in the UK. Throughout the module, discussion will include meeting individual needs regardless of age, race, culture and sexuality. Similarly professional legal and ethical issues will be discussed throughout the module. Sessions include an exploration of the following topics:

Contraception and sexual health services within the UK.
Male and female reproductive anatomy and physiology.
Contraceptive methods.
Commonly occurring Sexually Acquired Infections.
Overview of Health Promotion related to Sexual Health.
