A 3,500 reflective essay demonstrating a critical analysis of the management and care of one chosen person they have cared for outlining enhancements that can be implemented where appropriate to the patient pathway. (assessing all LO's)

What is end of life care? - Including recognising dying, assessment of symptoms in palliative care and care at end of life
Physical and psychological responses in the patient who is dying including Management of symptoms ( pain, breathlessness, agitation and nausea and vomiting)
Concepts and models of care including - The Liverpool Care Pathway, End of Life Metrics and preferred priorities of care.
When a patient dies - practical aspects
Communication and bereavement - Listening and empathetic skills development
