Case study of a practical governance issue and its link to theory 50% (contributes to meeting LO 1, 2, 5) 3,000 words
Reflective essay on experience of policy implementation and the management of change 50% (contributes to meeting LOs 3, 4, 5) 3,000 words
Both elements of assessment must be passed
Additional Assessment Details (including formative feedback / assessment:
On-line test on key concepts of governance. This will be formative and will enable students to become familiar with key terms and an unfamiliar vocabulary around policy and governance theories in health management. It will also engage you in developing an understanding of the role of reflection in professional management practice.
