Module Indicative Content
This 5 European Credit module will provide a theoretical background and methodological tools, accompanied by numerous examples, that will allow students to understand the intricacies and relationships between production and post-production technologies and distribution systems across the media. These technologies and systems provide the means to deliver content and provide access to the end user. The module will analyze how content can define processes and access by the user. As more and more information and entertainment is acquired through images and non-print media (such as television), the ability to think critically and visually about the images presented becomes a crucial skill for the designer. The aim is to train students' abilities to evaluate and create visual messages, as well as improvement of students' reading and writing in theoretical and philosophical discourse on images.
