Module Additional Assessment Details
Portfolio weighted at 100% (Learning Outcomes 3, 4, 5 & 6).
This will provide evidence to demonstrate achievement of learning. Evidence to include the following;
SWOT analysis
Goal Plan
Action Plan
2 reflective case studies in relation to paramedic practice development (minimum of 2500 words each) and must follow a reflective model.

2. Paramedic Practice Assessment (pass/refer) Continuous clinical practice assessment document which will demonstrate competence in relevant areas. This will require signature against all clinical learning hours which will consist of 60 hours of supervised clinical practice (Learning outcomes 1, 2 & 6)

3. Observed Structured Clinical Examinations (Pass/refer).
This will consist of 3 x 30 minute unseen clinical scenarios. The 3 scenarios will be based on 1 x history taking & 2 x clinical skill (Learning outcomes 1 & 2).

All 3 elements must be passed for successful completion of the module

Formative assessment will include:
Practice for OSCE's with feedback
Feedback from mentors
Presentations
Individual & group tutorials,
Groupwork including moulages
Facilitated problem based learning sessions
