A 20 minute Seminar presentation addressing all Learning Outcomes

The student will demonstrate an understanding of local and national organisational policy and design. Consideration should be given to the influence and impact of these policies on their work and in the delivery of their work. An understanding of the organisational decision making process will be articulated within the presentation.

Theories and concepts of organisational culture and ethos, including, including its mission statements' will be reviewed and evaluated
The contrasting nature of public and private sector in the delivery of healthcare will be explored.
The impact of health policy on NHS will be explored within the context of the student's work place.
The roles of health care professionals, managers, elected representatives and voluntary groups and service users as drivers of change in health and social care
The importance of decision making at all levels in the organisation will be explored through action learning sets.
