Students will articulate the identification of a risk within their work place, the process of change that could be employed to manage the risk and the identification of an appropriate change management tool.

Introduction to the nature of risk within their work-place and literature around risk
The nature of risk as an organisational problem and the management of risk.
Exploration of the nature of the dynamic environment surrounding healthcare including social, economic and political aspects
The application of change management tool kits in order to support innovation will be objectively reviewed.
An appreciation of the fundamental importance of leading innovation in order to achieve change The management and leadership challenge of coping with change and implementing innovation within health and social care
