A1 Poster presentation containing no more than 1,500 words 80% (contributes to meeting LO's 1-5)
Assignement: A 500 word referenced handout to support rationale for focus of poster (contributes to meeting LO's 1)

Additional Assessment Details (including formative feedback / assessment:
Poster to reflect one health promotion initiative relevant to the student's area of practice. This will be accompanied by a referenced handout.

Formative feedback will be incorporated into the seminar and tutorial sessions via group discussions and workshops

Module Indicative Content
The aim of this module is to explore the factors that determine ill health and identify a range of appropriate care and health promotion options. The role of health promotion central to the provision of holistic care will be explored as will strategies for promoting health in the care environment.
