Module Indicative Content
The student will study the application of key concepts of the biological and physical sciences including;
- A&P of the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, nervous and female reproductive systems.
- The concept of homeostasis, growth and development across the life span.
- The pathophysiology of disease and psychological and social factors that influence health and disease.
Module Additional Assessment Details
Students will have a two hour unseen paper. It will comprise of two patient scenarios and a number of short answer questions relating to the application of pathophysiology and biological theories to the care of such patients. (contirbutes to meeting LO's 1, 2 and 3)
