Module Indicative Content
This module is designed to build on the knowledge and understanding gained during the level 1 module Anatomy and Physiology for Complementary Therapies by considering pathological changes that can occur within the body and the role drugs can play in combating these changes.

The indicative content is as follows:
An introductory overview of the basic principles of biochemistry and pharmacology related to aromatherapy and reflexology.
Consideration of pathological changes that can occur in body systems studied in Anatomy and Physiology for Complementary Therapies (which will include cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, musculoskeletal, endocrine, olfactory, nervous, gastrointestinal, lymphatic, reproductive) and how such changes could affect the functioning of the body as a whole. The effects of relevant drugs will also be considered.
Module Additional Assessment Details
The completion and submission of a workbook containing questions linked to considerations of biochemistry, pathology and pharmacology relevant to reflexology and aromatherapy.

The workbook will include questions to cover all the learning outcomes
