A 15 minute Seminar Presentation of a proposal and project plan addressing all learning outcomes

Additional Assessment Details (include formative feedback / assessment):
Tutorials will provide feedback around the feasibility of the proposal and project process.
Discussions with peers in groups will test the rigour of the proposal throughout its development.
Formative seminar presentation with written and verbal tutorial feedback



Module Indicative Content
The aim of this module is for the student to identify and gain approval from local management for a work-based project, to achieve this student will explore:
Problem identification
Negotiation skills
Objective setting
Time management
Costing of project including human resources and financial implications
Local and national healthcare policies which influence changes in work based practices
Confidentiality, anonymity, consent, informed consent
Project planning
Methods of project evaluation
