Module Learning Strategies
Emphasis will be placed on the work-based learning with lectures and tutorials aimed at supporting and directing work-based approaches. This module will cover the following areas:
- Demonstration of a series of complete hand reflexology treatments
- Study and understanding of hand charts and zones
- The anatomical structure of the hand
- Investigate current research into advanced reflexology techniques
- The application of code of Ethics and Practice
- Skills and attitudes in a clinical setting
- The treatment of common complaints with reflexology in the maintenance of health
