Implementing clinical supervision

Staff nurse role development and the need for Life Long Learning
Preceptorship, mentorship and continuous professional development
Current legislation
Record keeping for legal purposes
Legal and ethical dilemmas in practice
Integration of IT skills into nursing
Module Additional Assessment Details
Viva Voce assessment based on the Student Portfolio. This includes a variety of evidence of personal and professional development. It also assesses the ability to apply a sound level of knowledge and critical understanding to the delivery of nursing care within the current sphere of nursing practice weighted at 100% (Learning Outcomes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5)
