Module Additional Assessment Details
A 20 minute group ORAL presentation weighted at 20% (Learning Outcome 1).
A Portfolio (1,500 words) weighted at 80% assessing Learning Outcomes 2 - 4
The Portfolio should demonstrate achievement of the module's Learning Outcomes and link closely to your personal development plan and personal development record, including reflective statements and a research element.
Module Learning Strategies
12 x 2 hours sessions incorporating lectures, workshops (including individual and group work, practical presentation) tutorials.
Independent study and guided learning will support each session. You can expect to spend around 36 hours in preparation for the workshops. Self tuition through a Study Pack is expected to take approximately 24 hours and access to tutor and work-based guidance will take place. It is expected that in-house support will facilitate the learning environment and you could expect to spend about 24 hours on work-based learning. Additionally you can expect to utilise some web-based enquiry as part of your independent learning.
