Students will be introduced to the 3d Modelling environment using 3DSMax. They will be introduced to

¿ Primitives and Parametric Modifiers.
¿ Splines and shapes.
¿ Compound objects
¿ Mesh and Poly modelling
¿ Introduction to Materials
¿ Lighting and Cameras
¿ Rendering and Output formats
Module Learning Strategies
The module will be delivered using a combination of demonstrations and supervised tutorials. The majority of the work will be of a practical nature and students are expected to use their independent study time to consolidate this work.
