Module Indicative Content
In this module students learn the mechanisms by which a narrative is constructed and the importance it has to certain types of games. Students learn this by studying the following:-

- Introduction to narrative and narratology
- Ludology and narratology
- Narrative structures
- Story types
- Branching narrative
- Plot and points of view
- Linearity

- The character and character development
- The story arc

Module Additional Assessment Details

An assignment length typically 3000 words weighted at 100% assessing Learning outcomes 1 and 2.
