Module Indicative Content
This module studies the development of film and television production technology over the past 100 years, and examines the impact of this technology in terms of film production and television programming.
1. Early cinema
2. The introduction and development of sound
3. Post production, special effects and CGI.
4. Digital cinema and the future.
5. The future of television.
Module Learning Strategies
12 two hour lectures to include film screenings. Independent study and research structured around each weeks lecture topic.
