Module Learning Strategies
All aspects of the module will be facilitated through workshops, tutorials, problem solving exercises and practical participation in the production of major collaborative projects using labatory equipment and editing facilities.
Module Indicative Content
This module requires students to demonstrate the technical video editing and audio production skills through undertaking appropriate roles in the production of collaborative projects and reporting on them.
In the course they will gain knowledge of,
1. Advanced editing techniques
2. In depth audio functions
3. Nesting effects
4.Transitions
5. Film Styles
6. Montage editing and Chroma key
7. Working to a client brief
Module Additional Assessment Details
A Coursework length 1200 words weighted at 70% and a second coursework weighted at 30%
Coursework is an evaluation (70%) 1200 words - addressing outcomes 2 and 3
Coursework is an employer/tutor report weighted at 30% - addressing outcome 1 and 3
