Module Learning Strategies
The learning strategy for this module requires students to commit 600 learning hours (including assessment). The majority of this learning will be generated from work place activities and continual personal reflections of your development as a Course Design and Development practitioner.
You engagement with the learning material begins before attending your Defence Course Design and Development practitioners' (DCDD) course at RAF Halton. You are required to access pre course material and activities hosted by the Defence Learning Portal (DLP) which will require you to commit 20 hours of pre-course study.
The DCDD course will extend your
knowledge and understanding of the
Course Design and Development practitioner role through the practical application and contextualisation of new learning. This is achieved through 50 hours of guided learning, the majority of which is classroom based.
In support of the DLP and DCDD content you will access generic academic support material and information supplied by Staffordshire University.
