Module Learning Strategies
This is a 100% virtual learning environment. You can therefore expect to utilise web based learning, using a virtual learning environment to facilitate independent learning.
The delivery is sub divided into knowledge content elements and associated problem based tasks forming 24 x 0.75 hour sessions incorporating virtual learner information, and 24 x 0.75 hour sessions preparing problem-based tasks. The remaining 114 hours is used for self-tuition through available resources.
Module Support will be provided by access to scheduled tutor office hours.

The module covers:-
The key factors in entrepreneurial activity. The role entrepreneurs play in a competitive market and the role of government / policy makers in the creation of an enterprise economy.
The impact of company culture on enterprise. Team working within companies and the effect on individual behaviour.
The relationship of attitudes, values and beliefs to innovation. Managing change. Key factors in innovation success.
The New Product Development process and reasons for high failure rates.
