Module Learning Strategies
The learning strategy for the module requires students to commit to 150 learning hours (including assessment) of this there will b 36 hours on class support and 114 hours of independent and self directed study.

Module Indicative Content
The aim of the module is to involve students in the practice of fundamental personnel management skills. The module is designed to give the students the underpinning knowledge required to conduct these activities within the legislative framework and considered `good practice' from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Different approaches to recruitment and selection.
Effective communication (questioning and listening skills).
