Module Indicative Content
At the heart of film making is a creative idea and it is important that students are able to explore the boundaries to these ideas and the techniques that they can use to realise these ideas through a visual image.
Students will be encouraged to explore experimental film particularly these aspects of breaking-the-rules in producing an experimental film.
Part of this exploration will be the relationships between installation and interactive video creation and who are the key reference points as film makers or as artists in their production.
Module Learning Strategies
The learning strategy for the module requires students to commit 300 learning hours, of this there will be 75 hours of class support and 225 hours of independent and self directed study.

Lectures/ lab work/ Presentations /Tutorial
Student managed learning/ directed learning

Apart from the lecture each week, various other methods as mentioned above will be used as learning strategies.
There will be laboratory and tutorial sessions, students will be required to discuss and present various topics of the module in the class. Students will be required to apply theoretical knowledge in practical contexts.
Students are expected to be able to structure their own work and to work relatively independently under the guidance of the module teaching staff.
